Luxury Home Furnishings Brand Shine by S.H.O Debuts New Brand “SHO MODERN” at the Las Vegas Market

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. – Shine by S.H.O, the renowned luxury home furnishings brand that specializes in bench-made casegoods, upholstery, lighting and rugs, announced today the launch of a spin-off brand called “SHO MODERN.” SHO MODERN, which includes almost 150 pieces in its debut collection, will have its West Coast debut at the Las Vegas Market in the MDBG Showroom C591. SHO MODERN’S globally inspired and sourced lifestyle brand features case goods, lighting, accent items, and leather upholstery.

“We are absolutely ecstatic about bringing SHO MODERN to market,” said Susan Hornbeak-Ortiz, Shine by S.H.O and SHO MODERN founder and creative director. “While SHO MODERN pushes the limits in design and price, it is still very much part of the Shine by S.H.O. aesthetic.   The clean lines and luxurious materials that have made Shine by S.H.O an editorial and designers’ favorite are carried over to SHO MODERN. However, because SHO MODERN items are globally sourced, we have been able to produce strikingly fresh, fashion-forward, affordable pieces that look every bit as exquisite as our luxury line,” Hornbeak-Ortiz added.

After years of catering to high-end designers with custom made Shine by S.H.O furnishings, Hornbeak-Ortiz had a desire to develop a line that is not only accessible to a much broader audience, but that pushes the edge factor in design. The use of spikes, fringe, Lucite, marble pounded metals and leather is prevalent throughout the collection. Shine by S.H.O’s luxury collection’s pricing is reflective of being bench-made in the US, however through a global supply chain the SHO MODERN price-points are generally half to a third of the cost. Designers who appreciate the Shine by S.H.O design inspiration will want to add SHO MODERN pieces to their mix for a punch to any project.

“SHO MODERN will appeal to both the fashion forward, design centric consumer who is looking for creative statement pieces, to our existing customers who appreciate the high quality we are known for, but also looking for a bit more rock-n-roll and sex appeal.’ commented Hornbeak-Ortiz.

SHO MODERN will be available to both on- and off-line retailers and trade showrooms beginning Spring 2017.
